Disputes

Disputes can happen to anyone. Your builder delivers a less than satisfactory job, for example… or your neighbour builds over your boundary …and perhaps someone somewhere owes either you or your business money.

You don't go looking for trouble like this, but you can prepare for it. All you need do is decide who to call if you get involved in a dispute of any type.

Avoid Action If Possible
In many cases it is possible to avoid full legal action just by getting some sound legal advice at an early stage. We are happy to advise all our clients in this way and help them avoid going through the courts and to try to minimise any cost. That is the first objective.

But Be Prepared For Court
However, if firmer action is required, we have extensive experience in dispute cases of all types. We have dealt with all manner of disputes on behalf of individuals or large companies, sometimes in the County Courts and the High Court and sometimes all the way to the House of Lords and the European Court.
